Why is it always talked about as if Republicans are unaware of the consequences of their unwavering support for this. As if they haven’t considered it. They know. They never stray from it. Dems and media are the ones pretending it’s an act.

Say what it is. That in today's political climate, someone cannot be a Republican unless they're threatening the lives of Democrats. And Democrats are expected to not complain about it.
