We hear it all the time: Americans are *over* Covid. But the pandemic keeps reminding us: Covid is *not* over you. It’s a message the Biden administration and the CDC need to be sending. So, @mehdirhasan asks, why aren’t they?

When will @elonmusk throw @mehdirhasan out from Twitter ? MAKE TWITTER FUN AGAIN !
This is the very reason. It's been decisions based on marketing/polling research and not actual scientific evidence. This memo is also on the house gov website for all to see:
So how far did this ALG Research/Impact Research memo on COVID-19 circulate amongst the current @WhiteHouse @CDCgov @CDCDirector and related agencies? Biden's speech was a few days later. How much of this was based on the actual science? #LongCovid @ArthurCaplan
Not that I’m enthused by her job performance but I will say this, she was speaking of all three respiratory diseases. With RSV and flu, wash your damn hands. Covid (and RSV and flu) requires due diligence with air filtration and ventilation along with #N95 or better.
They stopped following the science and started following the pollsters.

Oh give it a rest. No one cares about you or your covid fear mongering anymore. The pandemic was over when we all got omicron in January. Now it has less of an impact than the flu and the cold. Your target audience (covidians) is diminishing rapidly.
It’s over has been for a while
