The best scenario is not revolution but liberalization, democratization and reform. If the theocrats are not completely stupid, they will allow this to happen. Big if.

I’m not sure “counter-revolution” is the right term
Fascinating stuff. Didn’t know about the changes in literacy. Not how Americans understand Iran. But revolution? Hard to see so long as mullahs control and are willing to use force. Problem everywhere whenever revolution is sought. Look first at Belarus. People power isn’t enuf.
