They say "all press is good press." But is that still true for climate activists throwing food on famous paintings? "Activists have been trying for decades to get attention to these issues and we’ve been ignored," @ClimateHuman says. "These activists are trying something new."

I cannot convince people to follow my example through persuasion, so let me vandalize an art treasure to win them over. Have you lost your freakin’ minds? Get better at persuasion. You actually suck as activists and need to get better at appealing to intellect and empathy.

Those "they" are idiots. "No press is bad press" was a good point but does not mean the same thing at all.

I get their frustration. It feels like most Americans only think about climate change... after a 1000-year-flood or one of the other natural disasters we've been getting every other year. But this is just pissing people off.
Some things are just stupid

Very disappointing to see even this show going along with the vandalism line. Both the Van Gogh and the Monet are behind glass. No damage was done to the paintings.
Just saw the whole segment & thank you! I have one suggestion for future interviews, instead of asking how will climate change effect the planet, try how will climate change effect humanity?Americans are very disconnected from the Earth, and slightly more connected to each other.

It ain't working. Like dressing up as clowns to protest; it might get press, but mostly just makes you look foolish.
