Why are Democrats struggling to counter-message against the GOP’s fearmongering campaign on crime? “I think it’s easy,” @DA_LarryKrasner tells @MehdiRHasan. “Democrats gotta stand up, cause this a nonsense argument that we can beat.”

Fear sells better than anything else. It’s primal (see marketing 101).

Because they're unfortunately very incompetent politicians.

Dems doesn't counter because "tough on crime" is their bread and butter. It's bipartisan

Ppl with personal security details are very happy with the Dems crime policies. And criminals. No one else is.
Just wanted to put out a quick preliminary update: As of 10/16/2022 22:11hrs, we have added 131 incidents for October so far: - 22 homicide by shooting - 10 armed robberies - 9 gunpoint carjackings - 91 shots fired incidents + non-fatal shootings google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer…

Democrats are very docile! That’s their greatest shortcoming! There is so much they should boast about as successes, and rightly so, and so much to stand up for and defend but they don’t. Instead, they play too nice and let Reps walk all over them. My frustration with Dems.

No GOP talking point on crime survives contact w/reality. None. Pull up red rural county per capita crime rates. They're ⬆️than city crime. Pull up funding. Blue areas fund LE better. Funding≠lower crime. Data proves this too. Recidivism? D counties w/bail reform perform better.

Midterms are in three weeks; whatever it is, maybe they should start.

They Struggle because MSNBC NBC Comcast adhere to the "60Minutes CorporateNews profit model " and profit directly from the False Narratives provided by @Axios @Politico @theatlantic @NyTimes . all are sources. #ThatsWhy Stop Blaming Dems When they don't control Media!
