I think we need to clarify hypocrisy a bit. If I say “we should all be doing X” but I’m secretly doing Y, then - sure - I’m a hypocrite. But if I say “We should all be doing X, which is what I’m doing” but I’m actually doing Y, Im not a hypocrite, I’m a liar.
