“We’re done rolling over and just trying to ignore it. … That playbook is gone.” @kurtbardella tells @mehdirhasan it’s about time we see Democrats, starting with President Biden, stop “tak[ing] the higher road” and call out Republicans for their hypocrisy:

PA Lt Gov and Senate candidate @JohnFetterman taking it to republicans since forever. I credit him for Biden's agressive stance against MAGAcans.

Even Kamala Harris is holding back. Before she became POTUS she was a firecracker for speaking her mind. Articulate, opinionated, forceful in her persuasion. Now her passion has become a shrug.🤷🏽‍♀️#TimeToFightFireWithFire🔥 #ThereAreMoreOfUsThanThem 🗳💙🇺🇸🌊

Personally, I think we can be assertive in combatting lies with facts, credible evidence & truth in general, and still take the high road. These things aren't mutually exclusive.
Maloney and Harrison haven’t impressed me as political pugilists. Yes republicans flood the zone with scandal but democrats have no outrage infrastructure to capitalize on any of it

About time. It’s so tempting to start conspiracies about the republicans. It’s so easy to do. It’s time for offense!!! I would love to spread some conspiracies about these candidates & Repub politicians. Show them how difficult it is to put out so many fires at once.

Calling people out for hypocrisy isn’t abandoning “the high road.” You know this. Being rude, unthinking or unfair about it IS the low road. Which you also know. Some people use tour phrasing as cover for a trip down the low road. Which you likely know.

The higher ground IS to call out hypocrisy- to do otherwise is a lie lie of omission, perhaps cowardly given their leadership jobs.
Stop being nice kind and believing in human kind. Maga REPUBLICANS ARE NOT human they don’t deserve the nice treatment. Be on the offensive yeah!

When republicans go low, kick them in the teeth. If you’re not fighting to win, you’re simply waiting to lose.
