Conservatives can go crazy over it, but the fact of the matter is, public opinion is shifting on the “F-word” — and it’s because of far-right behavior. @ruthbenghiat and @MollyJongFast join @mehdirhasan to talk more about fascism & the GOP. Catch their convo on @MSNBConPeacock.

Trumpism was fascism 5-6 years ago too, yet those of us analyzing it as that *by scholarly definitions* were treated as hysterics & subjected to media erasure. You came around faster than many anchors, but not super fast. Might be worth acknowledging the ‘hysterics’ were right?

Because its purposely one-sided. "Extremism" is a much more apt word. If you oppose extremism it doesnt matter which party is pushing it. Because its partisan you only focus on one side and conveniently ignore it when its your side.

My great grandfather was Armenian. Left Turkey before the genocide started. 2 million of his people. Watching the extremists on the left recently gives me no confidence in your ability to tell me who the dangerous fascists are. I wouldnt trust your side with too much power either
Trump had said it in public, what's their issue?
