I think it’s unfair that, like millions of young people in this country, I knew that my best shot at being able to pay for college was joining the military and earning G.I. Bill benefits, and as grateful as I am for those benefits...

Now answer me who is going to pay those loans? You cannot just "magically forgive" someone will have to pay the burden, you just took the debt and will be throwing at someone else to pay i.e. Taxes
