Over 1 million people have died from Covid-19 in the US alone and yet government figures are saying we need to live with it. @thrasherxy tells @MehdiRHasan this mindset "isn't good for Covid or monkeypox... we need paid sick leave to deal with all of these pandemics."

I watched the segment on Monkey Pox. I viewed photos of what it looks like. I may be old school,but just as I learned the oven will burn ya if you touch it... y'all might want to consider telling male children,um, not a good idea to stick parts where they don't belong!
We also need a new @CDCDirector who actually follows science and knows how to deliver proper messages

Our culture, especially work culture, needs to reevaluate how we approach sickness. We鈥檙e expected to drag ourselves to work even when we鈥檙e sick. If govt. won鈥檛/can鈥檛 address this maybe unions should.

Universal healthcare seems like it might be nice, too. So glad the Ds are following up on the public option they spent so much time touting during the primaries.
