President Biden's positive COVID diagnosis has been called a teaching moment on what living with the virus is like. @uche_blackstock tells @MehdiRHasan that line of thinking is dangerous calling it a "false narrative."

Agree completely!! I thought we'd left the, "Stiff upper lip, work through it all" mindset back in the 20th century--or at least last year. I understand he doesn't want to be perceived as elderly and weak, but he IS elderly and rest is important for ANYONE who has COVID!

Thank you, Dr Blackstock. For pointing out that the President is not a good example of the care that most Americans can access, and for saying that Dr Wen is pushing a false narrative by saying we should continue to work and go around infecting others when we have COVID.

We call the separation on the behalf of the monetary elite and their experiences, vs unaware- ness of those struggling to survive by having to forfeit tax dollars & not getting healthcare, + “go-back-to work while still ill”at laborious jobs- as being out of touch. Completely.

Yeah, a teaching moment. An example of how our leadership is screwing up. They were so cavalier that they couldn't even keep the President safe.

Thank you for broadcasting what should be common sense. We need lucid voices in the media in this time of willful ignorance and failed leadership.

The presidency is not a normal job and shouldn’t be considered a role model job.
