Joe Biden earned major points during his campaign for calling out Saudi Arabia for its laundry list of abuses at home and abroad. So, @mehdirhasan asks, how can the now-president justify visiting the kingdom he once called a “pariah”?
.@mehdirhasan asks of President Biden's meeting with Saudi leaders: "Whatever we're getting form this meeting, maybe, maybe a slight fall in gas prices, is it really worth selling out the family of Jamal Khashoggi, the people of Yemen, and our own moral authority and values?"

Replying to @MehdiHasanShow
Now @mehdirhasan do the same thing for Turkey, Iran and other authoritarian regimes that the US & Biden deal with. Why only speak up on certain authoritarian and silent on others? This is a big question on your credibility that can’t be brushed off forever.
He's not justified. He's a hypocrite. Just like all of the other western country's leaders and politicians. I don't like Saudi Arabia but I hope they tell #Biden to eat dirt after he begs them for oil. Just like he begged Venezuela. #SaudiArabia

Mehdi, at this point you are no better than the GOP.
Sometimes you have to dine with people you don't want to talk with, that's the beauty of international politics. Amidst all these, both countries seems to have same interest and similar rivals in the middle east. Like they say, the enemy of my enemy becomes my friend.
