"Why did I, as a gay man, work for people who were against gay marriage? If I could work for someone who wants to take that away, how easy is it for someone to rationalize going along with Trump?" @Timodc joins @MehdiRHasan to detail his journey in leaving the Republican Party.

His description of @RepStefanik is damning to her mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging base. She is a true example of a person selling her soul for power right before our very eyes. SHAME @RepStefanik SHAME

It's just that some people have no integrity or principles. They are willing to do whatever benefits them at the time. Like Mehdi justifying working for billionaire owned MSNBC, while trying to convince people that it's your neighbor who is your enemy and not the US oligarchs.
I was always struck by that line by Sly Stone,"Dying young is hard to take/ Selling out is harder." Sly obviously got that wrong.

If you look for a justification to throw truth to the wind,, I guess you can find it but at what cost? 😶‍🌫️

What was the description Tim used in his book for Mehdi, "radical lefty" or something wrong like that? I'm glad to see Tim made it on Mehdi's show. I like both of these men even though I cringe at Tim sometimes and wonder how he ever thought the Republicans were good post-Eich.
Cuz that’s wrong and again the norm of human being, it is the same analogy when you say, why don’t we kill people in the work place, it is exactly applied here if yoo understand what i mean…
I thought it was a great segment and I appreciate your honesty @Timodc

The “Normal” people of the GOP is how we got here. They paved the way. Thanks a lot. There was nothing normal about bush cheney. They were coming for us then and they’re coming for us now.
