He said we should revisit decisions that were based on "substantive due process," and Loving v. Virginia was not.
Maybe ALL of this mess is just so Clarence Thomas can get out of his goulish marriage...?

I am absolutely thrilled and honored and generally upside down with excitement to come back home to @MSNBC to host the 9PM hour, beginning August 16th. LET'S DO THIS nytimes.com/2022/06/27/busin…
He may have omitted Loving, and thinks it'll be safe because he's on the bench casting votes, but people pushing these other "revisits" very much want to come for his marriage too, and when they do, he'll be all alone. "First they came for..."

I can't understand the preoccupation with throwing our country back 50 years. And I don't understand their preoccupation with what other people do in the privacy of their bedrooms.
Ole Clarence subscribes to the "rights for me, but not for thee" part of the Constitution

And: When the GOP comes for Loving, they'll say "we're not against interracial marriage, we just don't think it's a right guaranteed by the constitution" AND: the media will accept that framing and pretend that it's legally and morally defensible, just two sides of an issue etc.
