Lawmakers have praised Pence for his actions on Jan. 6th but what does his fmr. aide @OliviaTroye have to say about his silence since then? “I’ve been calling for [Pence] to come forward,” she tells @MehdiRHasan. “If it were up to me, he should have come forward on January 7th.”

Pence still holding out hope for 24 nomination. Good luck w/that; Trumpists will never forgive his 'treachery' ...
1) J6 committee will heap GREAT praise on Pence: saved democracy, stood tall, rejected Big Lie, told Trump to shove it (in polite terms) How will Pence react? Accept praise & agree w/those characterizations? How can he accept hero role otherwise? To Trumpists, he is the biggest
Replying to @RichardClip
2) traitor; they certainly reject 'hero of democracy' narrative. What will Trump & fans say about Pence role & how J6 committee is portraying him? MTG, Gaetz, et al. 'I'M not the RINO, YOU'RE the RINO' 'Let's get Mikey to try it!!' Will be fun to watch ...
mike pence the consummate ass sniffer. pence has been doing this with donald trump for approximately the last 5 and 1/2 years🤬

He did one good thing when it counted most but...he still clings to a path to the Presidency which does not exists.

Pence is no hero. It was his job. A hero would be someone who was honest & tell the truth about trump & his partners in crime.
Everybody knows what happened. We all know the effort to overthrow our government by a wannabe dictator failed. The best place for Mike Pence to testify is at the Seditious Conspiracy trial of one Donald John Trump.
Mike Pence had a chance to redeem himself and the GOP in 2020. Instead he’s leaving it up to Liz and Adam to salvage a tiny bit of party dignity for posterity, two years later.
