Bipartisan gun reform talks have already nixed top Dem items. This compromise is "Dems admitting they cannot get what they need to get done,” @cameron_kasky tells @mehdirhasan. This gives “our politicians a free pass to say they did something when they’re not doing anything.”

That’s not only on gun reform that’s on gas prices, climate change, healthcare and voting rights. They aren’t doing anything on either side.
If the Dems yield to GOP ineffective reform, at a time when public and political pressure is compelling, they are complicit. The GOP will take credit AND blame the Dems when the next shooting occurs. The GOP should have their names attached to the obstructionism
Check the math, @cameron_kasky . They don't have enough votes to pass even universal background checks in the Senate. We need to elect a few more Senators who agree to a filibuster carve-out to pass some sensible gun safety laws.

If progressives had of voted we wouldn’t have had Trump. Shut up and VOTE. It’s a split Senate. Frigging vote or shut up

Damn he just said what we all know to be true and nobody has called these feckless cowards out LIKE THIS for our trifecta of HELL!! @ChrisMurphyCT best heed the warnings n tell ur boss @POTUS we voters have the real leverage ur R boys don’t and no compromise come vote time🗳
The only explanation for the constant deference to the minority party whose entire mission is to derail the Dem platform can only be that there are not 2 teams. Just one team with 2 factions fooling us all with fake injuries and pointing to the referee. Shit suxxxxxxx
You nailed it @cameron_kasky. Democrats HAVE to bare their teeth at the Republicans.
See this BS needs to stop. Republicans have not will not vote 4 anything all progressives do is bash dems. If ppl want gun reform then get your arses out in droves give dems enough power to do it. These shows aren’t helping. VOTE

Absolutely unvarnished facts/truth correct, Republican Rot pass virtually useless, gets them off Red-Hot-Issue now, default in future forever "well, we passed xyz back in 2022", Biden's got more raw power than using, Harris underutilized/her strong suit/crisscross fucking country
