I hope it was talked about how the Oil Industry took it on the chin during Covid and lost (some) money. Today they are paying shareholders and themselves in a big way! They are keeping oil production down for that reason. So, the American consumer, is getting shellacked!

Gas price in Canada US$7 (CAD$8.6) while income here is lower than the US, so, $7 here is more than double what you have in the US. In the UK the price is US$8.2
