I'm not going to argue that slave owners didn't want arms, that would be silly. It's also just as silly to ignore men like Noah Webster who started the Connecticut Society for the Abolition of Slavery in 1791 while simultaneously being very pro gun ownership.

This is exactly why the NRA is so worried about Roe falling. If Roe was wrongly decided it puts Heller in play. I've been saying this for months and if we ever expand the SC, they know Heller is going down.
