.@JYSexton says Democrats are largely ignoring the rise of authoritarianism: "Something weird and insidious is happening, so why aren’t the leaders calling it what it is?” “I don’t think I’ve nodded so much during a guest answer for a long time,” @mehdirhasan replies.

Dems want to pack the SC, eliminate the filibuster (this one is damn odd), eliminate the brilliant EC, are flooding the country with illegals and are mismanaging some of the most dangerous cities in America. I find all of this "weird and insidious".
Why no coverage of the Dem candidate for PA governor, Josh Shapiro?? All you are covering is GOP candidates? Except for Fetterman and Summer Lee. 🤷‍♀️
They really need to ask Americans if they want to have a king. And the king will be elected, and once in, he will dismiss everyone that got him there and rule his way.

Except… no one’s ignoring it There is only so much the little guy can do. Except vote…
I’m a lifelong Dem& I don’t get why people say it’s Dems who aren’t taking this seriously. It’s the freaking Repubs & media. I mean @POTUS @VP @SpeakerPelosi @SenSchumer have all spoken out and called it out. The House impeached Trump TWICE, once specifically for the Coup. Etc.

Very glad to see @JYSexton on your show.
A handful of multi-billionaires are planning & funding the slide to an authoritarian and privatized America . . .

Once again. Republicans believe in fascism, Democrats believe in compromise. Look around.
