Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi's murder sparked bipartisan outcry in DC. Why hasn't there been similar outrage over the killing of Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh? “The dehumanization of Palestinian-Americans is real throughout Congress,” @RashidaTlaib says

Maybe bec in one instance the ruler directly ordered an execution and in the other we have no idea what actually happened besides that a casket was stolen from the hospital.

Why was the chilling sniper M16 (?) bullet that bloodily killed Shireen not sent to the Hague International Criminal Court of Justice?
Sparked outrage but zero action because the outrage was fake.

Quite a comparison. Khashoggi was murdered. Tortured, dismembered, his remains were hidden. Abu Akleh was accidentally shot while in a dangerous location. Her death has received enormous attention in U.S. & international media.

Will @SecBlinken answer or he will keep monitoring the situation?
The answer is simple. Khashoggi was Muslim. Abu Alleh was Catholic. The media doesn't care about Catholics in this country.
Shireen was a Christian too…but unfortunately too many Americans can’t fathom that Palestinians can be Christians also (with more Christian history than ANY American ones)
