“Isn’t that hypocritical, that [Israel] has nuclear weapons,” @mehdirhasan asks former Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert, “and you don’t allow the IAEA to check?” “You are very nervous, don’t be so nervous,” is how Olmert begins his response. WATCH:

The Symington Amendment to the Foreign Assistance Act STATES that any country that produces or possesses nuclear weapons without signing NNPT SHALL not receive US Foreign aid. How come Israel the biggest recipient of US Aid gets away with it ? Spineless pols
Dr mehdi let’s put it this way “Israel will NOT be the first country to introduce nuclear weapons to the ME, but it sure as hell Won’t be the second” and will leave it at that

How is it hypocritical when he said, rightly, Iran threatens the destruction of Israel? Israel does not threaten the destruction of Iran.

He keeps saying Israel is not threatening to annihilate any country but Israel keeps bombing Syria and it is actively trying to wipe out Palestine and anything Palestinian - who speaks for those people?

I believe Israel also purchased nuclear submarines from Germany. The US is not supposed to provide aide to any country ghat does not sign the nuclear non-proliferation agreement. Israel has NOT signed that.🤯
Glad you mentioned the facts. Hypocrisy is not good.
Mordechai Vanunu has been held in prison by them for decades for whistleblowing on THEIR nuclear program. Now they want to act like FALSE whistleblowers against Iran? Ehud Olmert should worry more about those who stabbed an Israeli PM in actuality, Rabin, than the fae war scams.
Why doesn't he refer this to the US who has urged Iran to sign a nuclear deal. Why not direct this question to the very country MSNBC operates from?
