The movie ‘Don’t Look Up’ eerily mirrored reality this week when a climate activist appeared on the UK morning show ‘Good Morning Britain.’ So we put real life and the movie side by side for all to see. 👀

This is how our mainstream media ever mentions #ClimateCatastrophe, if they even bother to throw it a soundbite.

Covid needs to amp up & wipe out half the population, to give the planet a chance.

From the media - ‘We keep the bad news light’ and from governments world wide- the wilful refusal to stop using fossil fuels and aggressively pursue renewables. Two of the most powerful, potential change agents and influencers. It does not augur well for our planet.

#BoycottGoodMorningBritin Seriously, they should publicly apologize for such arrogance and incompetency. You hear that, @MSNBC ?

I wish I could laugh at this, but the real consequences of this attitude will be so devastating for so many. This is nothing but a slow moving tragedy. I doubt those responsible for this tragedy to come will be held accountable unless serious opposition is built.

The # of capitalist ass kissers and status quo preserving cowards is astonishing. Let's even say all of this is environmental concerns is overblown, please explain to me why you prefer dirty air, ground water, and soil instead of actively disrupting that for cleaner solutions?

So many people point the finger at others and do nothing themselves. No changing is not easy. Governments in Australia need to lead the charge by providing funding to businesses to make change happen. It's starts with us and we can only point the finger when we achieve results.

Yea, this is why I haven't seen the movie. I live thru it everyday, it's fucking depressing. I don't need it interpreted or acted out for me. Can't watch the Handmaid's Tale either. Read it yrs ago, but it's too close to home, too close to reality for me to take viewing pleasure

It's truly annoying to see this many people just taking this situation so lightly and haphazardly. The potential for catastrophic death is upon us and no one cares enough to help. So what do you think happens when you don't listen? What do you think the next part of this is?
