Trump radicalized many people to embrace the far-right, but for many in Hollywood, his presidency did the opposite. “I did not register to vote until the 2016 election,” @JeriLRyan tells @mehdirhasan.

I made the mistake, like so many others, of not voting. Was absolutely sure there was no way this country was stupid enough to elect Trump. Never again.

She is also one of maybe three Hollywood celebrities who are taking covid seriously. I adore her

"Trump radicalized many people to embrace the far-right, but for many in Hollywood, his presidency did the opposite." ...says a spokesman for the far left.
@JeriLRyan I love your take on politics, pre 16. I'm glad you registered though.
She's certainly made up for lost time.
Medhi!! You had her right there and didn't ask how she felt around QAnon abducting and poorly plagiarizing Star Trek motifs, characters, and plot lines as their lore?! What ya doing?! (Jk but it would've been a great discussion)
I must hate Trump just as much as you do I think...
So she never voted for her horrible politician ex-husband, then? Bad to not have voted before, but on the other hand…
Wasn't she married to a US Senator?

People who never took politics seriously until 2016 are the ideal Democrat voter. They think everything bad started with Trump and Hilary and Biden are heroes. They have no sense of History before 2016 and hate people who point out pre 2016 issues.
