Goldman is a Beltway double talker. He wrote a long Tweet 2 weeks ago applauding the Manhattan DA for dropping the Trump investigation despite career prosecutors (involved in the case) stating crimes had been committed. For Goldman, it seems to be whatever side of bed he wakes
I love @danielsgoldman but this is ridiculous in 2022. The Rs will use every chance they can to say “see nothing here- they didn’t even refer the case..”. Fox will repeat and Dems lose. Why? Because a referral could tinge the process? GTFOH.
“Oh no, it would appear bipartisan”, something you will not hear in 2023 when the criminals take over Congress and start impeachment proceedings against Biden. You only hear this now from the people who think appearances are more important than saving the Democracy.

Great conversation. But you made one point to Goldman that he never really addressed: What about the other crimes that have yet to be touched upon by DOJ? They should be indictments already for those.
Garland is basically a coward. Period.
Goldman’s take on this (and many other issues of late) is, frankly, suspiciously biased.

It's a bipartisan committee, Christ
YESSS THANK U Mehdi👏👏for saying EXACTLY what we’ve been screaming for months and Garland is making that Dept look more corrupt & complicit, spitting in the faces of the American people and the patriotic CP officers who were upholding the very oath GARLAND isn’t. Disgusted
