Americans overwhelmingly support efforts to sanction Russia in response to Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. @MehdiRHasan asks @SenatorCardin if such a development might change the way lawmakers view the BDS movement against Israel.

This is disgusting. Making false equivalencies as a journalist is revolting

You went easy on him Mehdi! Not your typical M.O.!

Why then are there laws in 35 states-eg(NY)that prevent businesses from doing business with the state if the business supports BDS &(Texas)prevents people from getting jobs if they support BDS ? How is this legal? Rights of citizens are suppressed in favor of a foreign country
Mehdi again doing all he can to take the focus away from Ukraine. Mehdi do you realize your talking points are the same as Russian trolls/maga right? I really hope that’s just a coincidence
Reminds of 2008 when Hank Paulson & James Lockhart put @FannieMae & @FreddieMac in a “temporary “ never-ending conservatorship. @FHFA used this to siphon $301 billion of their equity to the @USTreasury . Should @USTreasury be casting stones?
So a "foreign entity" pressuring an American company to BDS Israel is BAD, but the American government pressuring "foreign entities" to BDS Russia is fine? I influence YOUR behavior but Don't you DARE influence MY behavior? And you wonder why the world hates US Foreign Policy
Why is it racist and evil to sanction and boycott Israel when they murder Palestinians and throw families out of their homes but it’s noble and virtuous to boycott and sanction Russia for murdering Ukrainians? EVERYONE MATTERS EQUALLY 🗣🗣

They should also support to put sanctions on Israel for what they do towards Gaza and the occupied territories and also sanctions on themselves ( the USA) for ALL the invasions they have done through the years, destroying countries and murdering civilians.
