.@SenWarren says "Today would be a great today to cancel student loan debt." She tells @mehdirhasan that "If the president canceled $50,000 in student loan debt, he could cancel the black-white wealth gap, for those with student loan debt, by 27 pts." It'd help tens of millions.

YOUR STILL IGNORING SSI & SSDI ... WE ARE OVER 8 MILLION STRONG IN OUR VOTING POWER & WE'RE TIRED OF BEING PUT ON THE BACK BURNER. DEMS & REP ARE MORE WORRIED ABOUT PARTY THAN PEOPLE.
No help for SSI & SSDI As the government rushes to help the elderly & disabled in the Ukraine which I'm 100 % for but I'm SOOO angry that the government is completely ignoring its own elderly & disabled
HOWS ABOUT GIVING A LIL HELP TO SSI. I KNOW U THINK ITS EASY TO LIVE ON $800. OR SSDI $1100 A MONTH.... HELL WE'RE OLD & DISABLED ANYWAYS WHO CARES
I don’t agree w. arbitrarily paying back student loans. What I do agree w. is a work stipend to be used to pay back student loans, freezing student loan interest, flexible pay back plans, reducing education costs, tax deferred 529 options as well as other ways to help save 🙌🏼
Ive literally asked 12 younger middle aged people i know (mostly friends of my kids) who are still paying school debt how they felt about it. Only 1 said hell, yea, Warren’s plan would be great. The other 11, 2 of whom have lower paying jobs, said they disagree with Warren plan.
Took me almost 12 years to pay back my student loan. Shall I expect a check in the mail? I think $50,000 sounds about right. Then I can put it into my 401k that I wasn't able to pay into THE FIRST 12 YEARS. Just drop the interest to zero. That'd help.
Fuck that. I worked hard to pay back my student loans. I lived in a car, showered at a gym, ate cheap food while I worked a full time job. I didn’t buy stuff I didn’t need. I made sacrifices. Now I debt free and I shouldn’t have to pay for other people!!
Warren is as dumb as the pillbox she opens everyday. A politician not providing a solution, just throwing money at it. The problem is where and what college. My kids have AA degrees before they graduate high school! Only 2 years of in-state college to get a BS. They work 2!
