Wow. Warren is incredibly myopic, the wealth gap has more to do with owned property over generations, which has been impossible for black people in America for 350 YEARS. Student loan debt would help middle class whites people the most. What a monster.

Not saying this won't help all those "tens of millions" but please lets properly inform these said teenagers and their parents/guardians that a student loan is not free money. Someone has to pay it back, seriously.

I wish people would stop referencing a racial wealth gap without acknowledging the following: A Black grad and a white grad may each have $100k in debt, but one may earn $50k/yr while another earns $100k/yr – and only one of them owns a home. (Guess which one is which...)

Today would be a great day to cancel medical debt. Student debt, credit cards, mortgages... these are contracts people choose to enter.
