Are they saying most of the debt would be one’s created by the blacks?Sounds like it to me when they added it could help the black/white wealth gap.A loan is a loan! When they got a loan to buy the big vehicle,bet they paid that. How is writing off a school debt going to help?

And what do we do for current and future students who will have this same debt? Is this going to be a thing every couple years or are you actually going to do SOMETHING to address the root cause, and the structure of the loans that are so problematic?

Or be honest and state our education system is not worth the price tag

@SenWarren my parents couldn’t write a check. I took out loans to get through college and paid them back. It took sacrifice and hard work, but that’s what a loan is. You take it and have to pay it back. Maybe if we limit the amount that can be borrowed it would turn out better?

I lived like a poor person for 3 years+ to pay off my loans. So if we are giving out $$$, I would like my $50k as well.
