Republicans want their base to think of America’s children heading into the midterms. Well, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis showed us *exactly* what he thinks of the children when he berated high school students yesterday for masking up at a press conference.

UPDATED LIST After vaccines became widely available, but before Florida had vaccinated nearly enough people, DeSantis banned local officials from requiring masks, started pandering to anti-vaxxers. Since then, FL's COVID death rate has run nearly 3 times higher than Cal.'s.
