.@IlhanMN has said sending $500 million in military aid to Ukraine could escalate the already precarious situation. “Anyone who tells you that there is a path forward militarily is kidding themselves… every single option should be on the table.”

She just a congresswoman.
It's kinda weird how my part of the political spectrum has been on kind of a pro-Russian turn lately
#TheSquad are very wrong about Ukraine. This is not some dictatorship looking for weapons to kill their own people, this is a democracy trying to defend their independence against Russian imperialism. I knew they were bad at foreign policy, I didn’t know they were this bad.

When Ukraine was neutral, Russia invaded and annexed a part of Ukraine and started the war in the east. Now Russia puts large army on Ukraine's border and threatens them and you are saying Ukraine should not prepare its defence???

Except that Russia invaded Ukraine and has been occupying parts of Ukraine for 8 years and that was when US wasn’t be bothered. Ridiculous to bring people to discuss a region they are clueless on. Also they fail to realize Ukraine will continue to defend their land w or w/o US

I don't think she's a foreign policy expert. There are better members of Congress to speak on this issue.

The problem with this approach is that thought it might appear reasonable, in case of Russia's aim regarding Ukraine, it just isn't. Russia seeks to destabilize, subjugate and eventually conquer Ukraine by *any* means. Russia's policy is neoimperialism and neocolonialism. 1/2

Ilhan Omar; once again being on the side of ethnic cleansing and genocide.
