Around 16,000 Ukrainians have already been killed in war that has been going on since 2014. The only country causing escalation is Russia.

How about maybe letting Germany have the damn pipeline? Being rivals with Russia doesn't have to mean we want them to fail economically. The idea that Russia will have undue leverage is nonsense: the buyer has leverage too, since the Germans have other sources for gas.

This is beyond naive. Military aid is the best deterrence against another Russian invasion. Ukraine was defenseless in 2014. It didn't prevent an invasion then. Being defenseless won't prevent an invasion now.

What's wrong with you people? There is the path forward militarily. It is 150k Russian troops will move in with tank, air, sea and missile support, wipe out the Ukraine military in a few weeks, and leave 150 k dead and millions fleeing to EU IF THERE ARE NO WEAPONS.
