As many kudos as the Jan. 6th Committee might deserve, @MollyJongFast has a concern: “The thing I’ve been a little disappointed with is: what is happening with Merrick Garland following up on some of these?”

Mehdi: kudos (singular) is the Greek for glory. It’s not one kudo, two kudos.

I agree, the DOJ needs to prove we value rule of law in this country.

We the people are kept in the dark which makes us feel like nothing is happening. We see crimes go unpunished and the bad guys keep on winning. We the people deserve so much more than we are getting. Our stress, depression, and anger is overwhelming. It’s been 5+ years. #INDICT

I'm so tired of hearing how we need to have faith in the DoJ, that they're doing this "correctly" so it takes time etc, while Trump (completely unafraid of any repercussions) relentlessly attacks our democracy with lies and unabashedly encourages political violence. It's surreal.

I'd gladly be proven wrong by an indictment of the mythical "more serious perpetrators" Garland mentioned in his 1-5-22 speech, but right now his apparent inaction is far more concerning to me than whatever crazy shit Trump says day by day.

THANK YOU MOLLY. Saying what we're all wondering.
