So many people follow Prasad and Gandhi and trust them implicitly. Department Heads need to step in, it is going on far too long.

No criticism. This is a new virus, we know that, therefore there are no experts? Nobody can guarantee what's going to happen. Every scientist, Dr, politician + on the planet are making predictions if discussing future events 🤷🏼‍♂️. And they've all been wrong? (no offence).

Thank you. She stated it is because of her area, which is highly vaccinated. Yet fails to recognize her responsibility of dangerous generalizations and recommendations for an entire country, which is NOT highly vaccinated. Some of her colleagues who also do the same:

I really want to applaud you for going back and reviewing people’s predictions (and statements) and confronting them and asking for accountability. We desperately need more of this in the news. Unfortunately the people who are truly egregious offenders will stay away from you.

Thank you. Thank you for finally holding someone on contrarian Twitter to account. I have heard - and believe- that MG is a good person. But she has been dangerously wrong with very little blowback. I’m glad someone finally held her to account. She needs to stop.

Thank you so much for asking these hard questions. Dr. Ghandi herself says that her opinions were based on conditions in her own hospital in highly vaxxed area. Every community has different risks (that are dynamic) and resources. 1/2

The Bay Area is having the biggest surge *by far* this wave. Could it be worse? Yes. But we also have a strong masking culture here. I see most people out in N95s.
