I agree. I do believe They should be able to invest but do it in blind trust like presidents do. Hire investment brokers to handle investments just for congress people, their families, staffers. They wouldn’t be allowed to know the contents of portfolios or make or direct trades

It is disgraceful that we need even have this conv. And it is a huge part of what gave media etc license to excuse the self serving 'me first' orgy that invariably gave us TFG. And will again BTW.
