Stop using "mild". What does that even mean. It has no measure or standard and means different things to different people.
It is, and has been confirmed to be less virulent than Delta. This can be quantified. just look at this data:
Needed Oxygen 17.4% Omicron Vs. 74% Delta
Intubated 1.6% vs 12.4%-about 1/10th
Deaths 2.7% vs 29.1%- about a 1/10th
Length of stay 3 days vs 7
Summary, in S.A. admitted patients
Young
shorter stay
fewer intubated
1/10th the death rate of Delta
