Trump was the first president to require asylum-seekers to stay in Mexico while waiting for a hearing. Candidate Biden blasted him for it. President Biden is expanding the program. "This is an administration that's speaking out of both sides of its mouth," says @JulianCastro.

Wasn’t it court ordered? The continuation of Stay in Mexico?

When I voted for Biden, this was the first on my list, getting kids out of cages and putting together a sensible immigration plan. Next was voter reforms. Still waiting for both.
I believe a Trump judge ordered the Biden Administration to resume this practice, after the Biden Administration tried to change it.

Wasn’t Biden forced by the courts to reinstate it and the way it is being rolled out is part of that same measure… defined under Trump? I believe this is true and a simple Google would concur. Why aren’t you stating this?

Is Julian just figuring this out? Biden said anything and everything to get elected (with @WhipClyburn’s help) now that he’s in the White House, he’s dragging his feet on most things and not using all of the power afforded to him. Black and brown people aren’t his priority.

Disappointing, for sure. I wish that there was a better option.

You forgot the part about Biden being forced by courts to re-instate the policy. You do that a lot.
