VA’s governor race is a dead heat heading into Election Day, with polls showing Republican Glenn Youngkin has successfully tapped into the culture war on the issue of education. “I don’t know if we’ve lost control of the messaging,” DNC chair Jaime Harrison tells @mehdirhasan.

@harrisonjaime what do you mean you don’t know 🤦🏽‍♀️
People are dumb and it’s going to take a long time, if ever to fix it.
Progressives/dems have always been horrible at messaging.
What message? At least I’m not trump?
The bottom line is you can't compete with fear mongering, that's how the GOP wins.
For once trump was right. They are “his base”. They do need them and he knows it.
@harrisonjaime it isn't about messaging. It's about accomplishments. VA has done great things in the past two years. The Federal level has wasted our time. Useless.

@harrisonjaime was never the man for the job. Framing message? He couldn’t paint big picture.

White power influences the media's coverage. Haven't you ever noticed how curious the media is about Republican voters, but not for Democratic voters? They frame the conversations, and control the debate by exploiting extreme opposing opinions. Thanks for keeping it real, Mehdi.
