Kyrsten Sinema doesn’t talk to press, ignores direct confrontations, and hasn’t done public events in her home state. @thebelensisa says, “It seems that the only way to reach her is to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to get into a room where she won’t take off running.”

I might have more sympathy for her if she wasn't also giving flippant responses or doing a curtsy as she helps vote down legislation that would benefit her consituents.

She looks petrified every time someone talks to her.
Demanding her to respond to how she props up systems of oppression and demanding the people challenging her to act with good manners isn't an equivalency. That's the problem: obligating people to oppose oppression with good manners is itself an oppression perpetuating construct.

Kyrsten Sinema doesn’t get to hide behind some mysterious enigma personality. She doesn’t get to be “quirky” when doing government business. She is an elected official who ran on a platform and made promises to her voters and constituents. She needs to answer questions.
