this must be only in certain places. i've never had a problem getting a test nor has my daughter in another state.

@obaid_ok same is the problem here. If you want to book pcr test they will give you apointment for 2 days after, specially in kids

Shift in UAE. Believe me you don't need to go anywhere for pcr test. Just one simple call or a drive through test. And above all, its free. Or if you want to go to private hospital, its no where more than fifty dirham. 🥰

How have we NOT ensured every community has easy access to frequent, rapid tests. Now that we need it for our at school children it’s a mess! Kids are missing lots of school waiting for an appointment and results / parents missing lots of work. Many jobs are not that flexible.

what amazes/angers me is that billions upon billions of dollars have been handed out to local governments with pretty much no strings attached (under the label of 'dealing with the economic impact of Covid) -- but that rapid testing wasn't funded...
