Biden has been in the political fray & storm, a mighty long time... perhaps much too long. He's fought a lot battles & suffered catastrophic loses both personally & publicly. Any1 whose gone thru the mill like he has, would be a little slow moving. He's had a tough row to tow!
Republicans have no agenda that is subject to the filibuster. All they care about is judges and tax cuts.
It's. Not. Biden's. Call. It's Manchin and Sinema's. As sad as that is.
There's the dilemma. Rs would definitely be more aggressive than Ds. But, Ds don't often look to Rs for examples of what is or isn't acceptable behavior, even when the cost is the tactical advantage. It really is the classic tale of good vs evil.
