On a scale of 1 to 10, how would @djrothkopf grade the Biden Administration’s evacuation effort in Kabul? “A 7 or an 8,” he tells @MehdiRHasan, “I think they’ve been very successful under very tough conditions.”

@mehdirhasan You have interviewed Shafiq Hamdam calling him a previous advisor to president Ghani. That’s a lie. He was never around Ghani. That guy is a scammer. He just worked as an assistant to Farkhunda Zahra Naderi who was a junior staff at president’s office. Be careful!
Should we have left Afghanistan? Yes. Is it good we’re able to now evacuate thousands of people? Yes. Should we have ever withdrawn troops before evacuating citizens, allies and weapons? Of course not. And that was the greatest mistake by a president in my lifetime.

It was only under those conditions because of the lack of competence he and the rest of the administration have. He couldn’t have effed that up anymore then he did. He had no choice but to try and fix it scrambling around with his tail tucked running scared.
