Right after 9/11, everyone but a scattering of pacifists were pro-Afghanistan war. I was the only reluctant person in my office. Iraq was far more controversial, though the anti war protests got scant news coverage.

It’s not about the withdrawal of the troops ding dong, it about how it was done, leaving allies and American citizens behind, leaving billions of dollars worth of equipment behind for them to use against us. It’s also about the administration not communicating with our allies.
