We allow, & continue 2 vote 4, politicians who support th US political contract machine. We did very little real work n Afghanistan; we fed huge graft. Could we do whats right? Should we? Of course. But can we overcome th dirty business? Perhaps we r not American enough 4 that.

The Taliban only put up with “a few thousand forces” because we were on our way out. If we didn’t get out, they would have started attacking the troops requiring another huge troop buildup.
