52 years ago today very brave @NASA scientists landed on the moon.They were doing what was best for America. The last 2 weeks was the battle of the billionaires getting to space. Times have changed. @BillKristol @jimsciutto @milesobrien @wolfblitzer

Problem is @JeffBezos barely made it into what is consider outer space outside the gravitational pull of the earth
I’m rooting for the billionaire class to compete to make earth a better place. Personal issues notwithstanding, Bill Gates is the likely front runner in that race…
And bezos's comment about taking factories into space so as to not pollute earth's atmosphere was further proof of his selfishness.

I think it will be worth all the infantile fetishizing of the rocket design. The only damned reason we went to the moon in first place was to get there before the Russians did.
