I'm a progressive Cuban POC & I greatly admire u, but u have tragically let us down. The embargo shud be lifted,but 4 u to focus on& condemn that more than condemning/spotlighting the ruthless police brutality & civil rights violations happening to pple now is a betrayal! Listen!

Prioritize this,not the embargo.That is 2ndary, this is far worse/more urgent! They take our rights & ur helping them deflect to the fucking embargo excuse. The embargo lifted won't decriminalize speech/free elections/protest/liberties & we will still b poor.They r killing us!

Yes, stupid the illegal blockade is the ONLY reason for the Economic problems in Cuba. 62 years of economic terrorism practiced by the US, the illegal and immoral sanctions imposed by the US are THE problem

Whenever u make this abt the embargo, which is a Cuban govt deflection, instead of the real reason the pple r revolting, u expose ur blind spot. When u hyper focus on the embargo more than call out what the people are begging for, civil rights/freedom, u silence them too. Look!

I support lifting the embargo/oppose airstrikes & am a POC prog,but why r u distracting to the embargo as if that's the bigger prob & the reason pple r revolting? What needs 2 be amplified more, the evil U.S or how the Cuban regime is kidnapping kids &using them as human shields?
