"Forever war" vs. complete abandonment. Both wrong. A small NATO non-combat footprint to advise, surveil & direct targeted air support might've prevented the looming disaster. Gains of Afghan women, safety of those who supported us- gone. Qaeda resurgent. Refugee crisis. @POTUS
