.@NIHDirector says if communities can drive down infections, schools can reopen without much worry in the fall. BUT “if there is wide spread of the Delta variant in a community, then I think schools opening… will really seriously need to be reconsidered.”

When are kids under 12 getting vaccinated?
States with the lowest % of vaccinated are all red or have GOP governors. As a HS teacher, I’d love to think that the reality of Delta could force reconsideration of F2F schooling, don’t see any states doing this, no matter how many students die.
