.@mehdirhasan: The U.S. & Russia possess 90% of the world’s nuclear arms. Based on what we heard today, are we safer after Biden and Putin have met? @RoKhanna says we’re “marginally safer,” but not as safe as we were under Reagan.

The threat of war was higher at the peak of the Cold War, but my point is that we had made more progress towards arms control with the historic INF than we currently have given Trump’s policies that must be reversed.

Biden had to establish a starting point. You seem to forget that Trump threw out the last 50 years of progress. If you think you’re promoting the need for a more progressive President you’re missing the good stuff. This nonsense is going to quickly start working against you,

It depends on if the list of our nuclear arms were on Biden’s “do not touch” list or not.
WE DONT HAVE A COUNTRY WITHOUT LAWS, @RoKhanna. Wtf. complete impunity for the criminal elite in this country, always. It’s repulsive. we did not work our asses off to elect dems and evict a criminal president for this … @SenSchumer @SenGillibrand @SpeakerPelosi
Not as safe as we were when we came within moments of complete annihilation?
