This week, some Dems & the GOP criticized Rep. Ilhan Omar for lumping together war crimes committed by the U.S., Hamas, Israel, and the Taliban. I’m sorry to break it to you, @MehdiRHasan points out in tonight’s mini-rant, but our nation has done some pretty awful things:

You are making a straw man argument here. @IlhanMN was criticized by @TeamPelosi and leadership for putting the US and Israel in the same category as the Taliban and Hamas, and NOT what you were claiming, criticizing the US for war crimes. She did walk this back.
