Beto, they don't just send their kids here if they fear DEATH in their homeland, no, they send them here because they (selfishly, some argue) want their kids to make more money. They are not all oppressed, Beto - they are opportunistic capitalists (something you don't like).

Both the Reps & the Dems are running down the clock. Neither has any intention of passing significant laws that help the masses. As usual they talk a good game, but both parties are doing the 'work' as laid out by the Evil Cabal So, the Dems will shrug, whine, & go, "We tried".

Beto is real, he needs to take someone's seat in Texas, it's just a huge plus for the State, congress, senate, governor are all garbage and this is his time and Texans like him as they should. Loved his reply absolutely not.

I think we can leave the hero worship of the USA aside. Preserving our own democracy should be the focus, not pretending we are the world’s hope for democracy. Other democracies are doing better.

He is being honest in these questions. That is a good sign of a politician.
